F.A.Q.

How long will my order take to arrive?

My work is not for the impatient. For all ready-to-ship items, please allow up to 10 days for me to pack the order and get it to the post office. You will receive an email with tracking information. If the piece you purchased was custom or made-to-order, please allow 12-16 weeks for production and delivery.

Domestic orders are shipped via USPS Priority. For more information regarding shipping, please click here.

How do I clean and/or care for my piece?

I will always suggest hand washing tablewares to ensure longevity; however, all functional wares are dishwasher and microwave safe unless otherwise specified. With a gentle soap, hand-wash ikebana vases that come with adhered kenzans. Do not use any dishware in the oven unless explicitly permitted.

Please understand that submitting wood-fired wares to the harsh and turbulent environment within a dishwasher will affect the longevity of wood ash build-up.

How do I remove wax from my candlestick holder?

To remove wax, place your ceramic candlestick holder in the freezer for a few hours. The wax will constrict; use light pressure to easily & cleanly remove it. Heating the wax will not aid in its removal.

Pease remember to secure your candlestick by melting the base a little before inserting it into the holder. You may need to trim your candle’s base to ensure a snug fit.

Can I place a custom order?

Please contact me if you are interested in placing a custom order. Given that I am a good match for your vision, I will be honored to bring your idea to life. This is and will likely always be a one-person venture, so I unfortunately do not always have the capacity to accept custom orders.

If you cannot wait 12-16 weeks for your custom piece to come to fruition, I am not the potter for you. Additional time is needed for incorporation of custom work into my studio practice.
