Adriana Sousa Estrella is a ceramist and educator. Her work’s formal language is rooted in function, and thematically explores sensual engagement and ancestral communion.

Though she holds a BA in English and an MS in Information from Florida State University, she soon abandoned her field after finding clay. Her ceramics education comes to her in the form of community studio courses, sponsored workshop attendances, peer-teaching from generous ceramists, and boundless curiosity. Currently based in Boston, MA, Adriana is an instructor and studio technician at the Office for the Arts at Harvard University, where she focuses on wood and soda firing.
